The Noida International Airport expansion reflects our commitment to reducing carbon emissions in large-scale infrastructure.
As a key partner in this transformative initiative, we provided solutions to minimize the carbon footprint while ensuring seamless integration into the project’s construction and operational goals.
Optimizing operations
We began by conducting a detailed analysis of the materials and processes contributing to embodied carbon within the project. Our admixture technology enabled significant reductions in cement usage – 158 tons avoided – a major source of emissions in airport construction, while enhancing the performance and durability of concrete.
With just 65 tons of Nanogence admixture, the project achieved 142 tons of CO₂ emissions prevented, demonstrating how large-scale infrastructure can meet sustainability targets without compromise.
Our solutions are designed to streamline construction workflows while delivering measurable environmental benefits.
By integrating our technology into the supply chain, we achieved faster curing times for concrete, reducing energy-intensive processes and improved material efficiency, cutting waste without compromising quality.
Key contributions
- Catalyst technology: Reduced cement content in concrete formulations by up to 30%, significantly lowering embodied carbon.
- Localized solutions: Adopted regionally sourced materials to reduce transportation emissions while meeting performance benchmarks.
- Carbon accounting software: Ensured accurate tracking of emissions reductions, providing transparency and accountability throughout the project lifecycle.
Blueprint for the future
The Noida International Airport project stands as a testament to our ability to deliver impactful, scalable solutions in carbon reduction. Our role in this project not only underscores our technical expertise but also demonstrates how collaboration and innovation can shape a more sustainable future for global infrastructure.
